  1. Extraordinary Mind by Mike Williams 02/14/1999 @ 7:02 A.M. just before sunrise Houston, Texas time. Written at the age of 25, and posted on Poetry.com. It remained on the internet for nearly a decade. Every word came from my own mind, and based on my own personal life experience. My poem has been plagiarized. I still have the original hand written poem. I also have the computer it was first composed on, and posted from. To me, it is much more than a poem. It is a memory, a history, a moment in time, a personal thought, and my own voice. It is covered by the Digitial Millenium Copyright Act. Please remove any form of this poem, painted, or otherwise. I did not give my permission for its use. Copyright infringement is a crime.

  2. Thank you Mike, for letting me know you are the true author of this piece. I will edit the post title to correctly attribute it.

As a result of your comments I have searched and I found what appears to be your original post here: http://poetry.com/poems/1569323-Extraordinary-Mind

I am not making any profit from your words, I have just shared a photograph.
The DCMA does not apply here, it concerns the prohibition of technologies that circumvent DRM and other technical measures to limit copyright infringement.

I am not aware of any law that would forbid me from sharing this photograph, and it is my preference to leave this here to show others who might search for this image/poem the true source.

    Thanks for writing it!
